Cons
Large company, incredible inefficiencies, lack of process improvement, lack of communication, lack of innovation, pretty dull. Pretty crappy insurance for a medical company. Many people would consider the cons sour grapes from an acquisition, but it's not. I spend 10 years working for Carefusion, it had it's own problems, all places do, but BD was just boring. I remember walking the hallway of their HQ and seeing portraits of leadership over the years. Just a bunch of old white men. No diversity, no thinking differently, just boring. They try to pretend that they are hip, but that's the equivalent of your grandfather trying to snapchat with you. If you are ready to just sit back and cruise to retirement, then maybe this is the place for you as long as you know how to play the game.
