Pros

For a public accounting firm the hours during busy season were pretty good. Generally worked from home after hours and the team was very flexible on where to work on weekends.

Cons

Some of the worst clients I've ever had in my public experience. There isn't much room for growth as they are very stingy with promotions. It's not about how much experience you have or what you know or quality of work but how long you've been with the firm that gets you promoted. The raises and bonuses are horrible as well.

Pros

There are a lot of good people that work there.

Cons

Lack of a true company culture. Depending where you are it's different. HR department is not run properly and the head of HR seems to lack the skills necessary to partner with the business as a whole. HR staff in areas lacks the ability to assist employees. There seems to still be a divide between various offices / regions and business units and not functioning like one firm
