I am part of the IT Graduate Analyst program and my person experience has been awful - there are 3, 6-month rotations you have to complete - irrespective of the fact that you have Master's degree or not and then once you get a permanent placement, there is just no word on when you will get elevated to the next title.
I have great finance, math and programming background and was hoping to look for a role that would require a good mix of these skills. Unfortunately, anyone with an IT background is considered a third-rate citizen of the bank. IT people have to fill in time-sheets which I think is a gross and uncomfortable experience.
