      Good place to start a career in asset management

      Pros

      Not only do you manage money, but you are part of a team that manages the largest pool of assets in the world. in addition, BGI pays for you to get smart -- generously reimburse MBA, CFA, etc.

      Cons

      Can get a bit monotonous at times, sometimes bordering boring... Project work can vary and add interest, but the key is to manage your funds to its benchmark (yawn)

      Good pay, good culture and values. Generally speaking decent opportunity with strong UK parent support with good Senior Mgmt Governance.

      Cons

      Scoping of Projects were unrealistic...needed better PMO/Scoping/SDLC process.

      Senior Leadership recognize the changing global environment and adjust their strategy to reflect that. Great team environment that encourages you to think out of the box.

      Cons

      Benefits are not in line with other corporations. They need to recognize talent and reward them as necessary. Not enough advancement opportunities
