      Pros

      Flexible when it comes to work.life balance

      Cons

      Company is not diverse. They make you take the 15 minute online training, but they do not practice it. What's the use? Not many opportunities for people of color Company does not promote within. Why not promote the people who are working hard, getting educated, and perform well on their jobs? Why do the good one have to leave in order to get the promotions/recognition that they deserve?

      Pros

      Very flat structure - relatively easy access to senior manangement, no hierachy, little tolerance of office politics (although in pockets they do exist). Opportunity for young talent to progress rapidly.

      Cons

      Key decisions still very much taken in a very small executive cabal - question whether integration of Lehman US will change culture.

      High caliber employees only - no dimwits! Collegiate atmosphere, consensus approach to all planning and problem solving. Highly creative and progressive management structure, allows room for personalities while maximizing effectiveness of good ideas and creative energy. Highly educated, cosmopolitan and energetic workforce adds to BGI's unique vibe.

      Collegiate atmosphere prone to clique-buildup.
