Seemed like a good company in interviews and offered a good salary

Cons

Many managers have been there forever and have little external experience and lack business acumen. They don't understand and/or support strong employees which is why they were hired in the first place. Old school mentality and not a diverse workplace. Too many changes in recruiting

The greatest thing I can say about Baxter is you meet some great people.

Cons

There is no such thing as having a life outside of Baxter. You never know what days you will work. The schedule changes daily and you have to plan your life accordingly. You have no work/life balance. They have a four week shut down that is plant wide but you only get two weeks of vacation. There are document changes daily which causes your work to change very frequently. Everything is inconsistent.
