Truely feels like a sinking ship

They're desperate for hires so even if your experience level is below what it should be you may be able to get in.

Cons

Being paid below market rate What that other guy said about a sinking ship feels accurate. Baxter doesn't know what to do with its acquisitions. Incompetent management gets hired rather than internal promotion. It's a comfortable place to work, but a deeply sad place to work.

Consistent but slow

Pros

Consistent work, lots of overtime (personal preference), great team.

Cons

Everything moves slowly… genuinely super slowly: change, processes, hiring, training, updates. Poor communication from management. Focus on speed over quality, combined with small site that wants output of a large site. Over emphasis on output and no care for health of employees. Poor pay, negotiable however some people they won’t let negotiate.

Rewarding career, but toxic environment with incompetent managers

Pros

Genuinely satisfying career. The mission of the company speaks volumes, and on a personal level it is so rewarding to know that every day you're making a difference saving and sustaining lives. Remuneration is also very competitive.

Cons

Toxic work environment. Micromanagers question what you do every minute of the day - even outside of work hours and on weekends. Be prepared to sell your soul only to be used, abused and tossed aside. Toongabbie pharmacy is the worst (although Brisbane isn't much better) and unless you're related to management don't bother trying to advance your career in pharmacy! It wasn't always like this. A decade ago it was an amazing place to work, but since then its been a slippery slope and everyone is miserable! Also not a good sign when the CEO steps down 'effective immediately' with no other CEO hired.
