Bad Politics and regional favoursm

US teams are quite knowledgeable.

1.Indian mgmt is full of politics and regional favourism. 2. Hardware Manager is not at all qualified for the role. Doing a lot of politics with senior member of other team. Non collaborative and highly political. 3. The Processes are not in place- Eyewash for quality reviews- Requirements elicitation to design to test results - all are low quality and fudged. 4. Ppl are expected to take calls at 2am 3 am - yes 2am IST. 5. Escalation to Sr Managers doesn't lead to any action although the policy of Open communication. 6. Overall - Wort Place I have worked in my 17yr career. I asked couple of ppl - not to apply and those who got offer - Not to join this place.

People are very forgiving and willing to teach. It is a great place for fresh graduates to learn.

Low salaries and no carrer plan

Some kind of flexibility, department management approach, team work (within the department)

Cons

Salaries are below the market, benefits are really limited, there is no carrer plan, they hold you as a contract as long as the law allows. Different (but related) departments do not interact as they should.
