Pros

Great until your job gets outsourced and you're expected to continue working with a great attitude even when everyone except the bosses best friend outside of work still keeps her job with a huge raise

Cons

See above! Boss hires best friend, paves the road for her to climb the ladder rapidly and oh well to the rest who worked hard for years.

Pros

Great people, and... that's about it

Cons

Dis-functional senior leadership team that is disconnected from reality and does not get the full picture of how the plant truly functions. Senior leadership team asks more question and provide implied criticism then provide mentorship. Plant manager drives a culture that believes everyone is replaceable. QMR promotes micromanaging culture. Veteran employees have developed an attitude that holds nothing accountable, which seems to be a necessary survival skill. Minimal employee appreciation, typical 'reward hard and good work with more work' attitude

Pros

It is a good place to start a career in the industry. The benefits are good (they used to be better but they are still good). The salaries are great for the area. They are open to training you and have a lot of good in-house training available.

Cons

Management was not transparent with what their goals were. Beware: they slavishly follow the management trend of the month (and then apply it thoughtlessly, incorrectly or where it might not be appropriate). They give a lot of lip service to good job performance, sharing ideas, promoting from within, teamwork, ethics, but those are ignored when inconvenient. Outstanding performance is not rewarded. Whether you have work-life balance depends on whether your manager likes you or not.
