      Pros

      Perfect Introduction to finance and the markets. Cross-asset training is encouraged throughout your time in analytics or sales. Great benefits and employee care in a social sense

      Cons

      Poor management in analytics. Not good at managing flow and preferences in moving from analytics to sales. Poor bonus culture, no commission structure in sales. Core terminal sales revenue model looks outdated and travelling expenses are ridiculous. You should travel because you can book valuable meetings. Not book useless, repetitive meetings because you have to travel 3 times a month

      Pros

      High standards, ambitious goals, plenty of resources and a sense of momentum (which is very rare in journalism). Some extremely talented writers and editors, who occasionally are unleashed to do their best work. Pay is good for journalism.

      Cons

      Crippling bureaucracy, management by fear and intimidation, a cover-your-ass mentality (which leads to busy work assigned "just in case"), mercurial leaders who won't accept questions or dissent and shifting goal posts for what constitutes success.
