Great training ground for new employees but limited upwards mobility

Pros

Global company with global opportunities. Growth focused and market share driven. Decision making can be fast only if the idea comes from the top.

Cons

Very centralized organization. Politics is rampant. Communication across departments and/or business units tend to be limited with little transparency. Unsure now if growth strategy through excessive leveraging is working. Top management not readily accessible. No loyalty to employees unless part of the inner circle and in return employees have no loyalty to the organization.

Not a place to strike a work/life balance

Operationally excellent Good benefits Global opportunies (for the select choosen few)

Cons

No work/life balance (late nights are the norm) You are treated as a "human resource" Lack of senior leadership Hierarchy is difficult to manage Corporate HQ still requires suit and tie. Your career depends on who you know Very tight with money on many things, except for a few people or functions that spend money like it is going out of style
