CEMEX USA reviews

Strong Latin culture in some departments as many of the employees are from Mexico. Some people adapt well to that but others want a typical American company culture and that's not what CEMEX is, at least not in HQ.

If I would have known that 10 years ago we would be lead by the most incompetent management in the industry I would have changed then. Talk of "transparency" within a company that has management that does not subscribe to it has no credibility and can not lead. We hear management is "sorry" they cannot communicate what our future holds for us as we try to navigate within an industry of rumors. Our people look to us for answers and re assurance while our leaders stick their heads in the sand unable or afraid to address reality or our perception of reality. We were told by sr. mgmt that we would have an update on the future of our business in 4 to 8 weeks...once again a hollow promise from a hollow leadership. It has been over 10 weeks now with only a "sorry" and no update. We expected more from this mgmt group because of their history; unfortunately, they too let us down. We are not looking for compensation only transparency through communication. Lack of vision is the beginning of the end for this company.
