Pros

Name it self a big brand

Cons

Pure dependant on client project, I am having 12+ year experince and worked as a hard core developer in my previous organisation(all are MNC) and also worked in onsite as well. Joined capgemini recently and fired after 4 month, no project call, no interaction...nothing. The RMG team in bangalore formed a gang, they will torture you like anything you don't belive. the boss is sitting in somewhere behind and pushed some associate from there team to deal with the employee whether it is new hire or old employee, they will never arrange a call atleast one/two you deserve it, after 2/3 month they ll ask you, yourself search and find a project and gives 20 days timeline if you not fund then they will terminate you ASAP. what a tragedy. I saw many new hire are crying like anything after joined capgemini and they threaten them and ask to resign even 2/3/4 month in organisation, same situation like me. If you joined capgemini thought this is big organisation then after 4 month you are jobless with 10/11/13/14....etc whatever experience you have . what a tragedy. please requesting you again and again, if you have any responsibility and really wants to see some lough face from your family or don't want to loss your dream job then join some where else. If you think you are skilled then don't join this company and wait some time to choose another but don't choose wrong one like capgemini.

Capgemini Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear that your time at Capgemini was disappointing and distressing. While we appreciate your recognition of Capgemini as a reputed brand in the industry, we deeply regret that your onboarding and bench experience did not reflect the values we strive to uphold. Your feedback about the Resource Management Group (RMG) and the lack of project allocation and communication is concerning. Every employee, especially someone with over 12 years of experience and a strong development background, deserves respectful engagement, transparent processes, and meaningful support. We understand how frustrating and disheartening it must have been to face such challenges after joining with high expectations. Your insights will be shared with the relevant teams to help us identify gaps and improve our internal practices. We sincerely hope you find a workplace that values your skills and treats you with the professionalism and dignity you deserve.

Pros

The team which I was working with was very supportive, my manager and team lead made sure I learned the technology well by providing me support whenever necessary and they are very easy to talk to. My understanding is that it all depends on the project team, if they are good you will have a good time.

Cons

The management in Capgemini is very bad. Surprising to see there are a few employees in this organisation who do not have basic manners and they yell at other employees for no reason. They are not ready to listen to our part of the story and only constantly harass us. Already a part of a project and they want to pull me for some program and when I clarified the same they didn't care about it. Even if I provide proof to them they do not care. They constantly call and mail us and harass us to attend programs, and the most rude behaviour I have ever experienced in my life. This is not a single incident, and it is not only with me alone, around 20 people are facing the exact same issues as me. And previously, they sent me warnings saying that I haven't responded to their multiple mails and calls and that they're taking action against me. But I had not recieved any information about any program. I tried clarifying with them and they didn't even consider my messages. They ignore our justifications and do not listen to us whatsoever. Freshers are excited to be a part of an organisation, to work and contribute, and companies are expected to nurture such people so that they can be confident and capable employees. But such rude and inconsiderate treatment really brings down the morale.

Pros

The culture can be fun, and there will be periods of time where you are getting paid to do absolutely nothing but check your emails.

Cons

If you are looking to grow your career as an engineer, please run far away from this company. Especially if you are new to engineering, this company can’t do anything for you. You’ll be thrown onto teams where you’re being asked to do senior-level stuff with associate-level knowledge. Or worse, you won’t be put on a project at all, and you’ll be laid off after a year with nothing on your resume. Be warned.
