Pros

- Time off from shift work can be nice - Pay is on time - Free coffee and milk?

Cons

- Management seem to have a power trip when met with any resistance or counter arguments to so called "requests" which are really demands made by them. -Company does not offer any training for entry level roles and such has a high turn over rate. - Below standard industry rate for all entry level roles while dangling a carrot of upskilling/promotion. (I know of people waiting 2 years for a desktop role!) - The sales team takes on contracts from companies that level 1 support can't handle and actively hides that from clients (imagine 1200 INC/RITM) Tickets between 8 people. (These 8 people also work on other clients despite telling the original client that those 8 people are dedicated to them and them only)

Pros

The people in this company are great - really nice to work with

Cons

The pay is awful for software engineers. £1k annual payrises (no bonuses, no stocks, nothing) that doesn't even cover inflation. I left with a £35k salary after 4 years experience, whats funny is, during job hunting, tech companies were offering me £60k-£75k base and I was able to negotiate £80k base (this is for a non-faang and non-fintech company too..) If you are a software engineer at Capgemini, you should really compare your salary to market rate.

Pros

Lot of free time. If you are someone who does not have much career aspirations then this is not a bad option for you

Cons

1) At the time when COVID-19 is on rise in India and most of the companies are giving wfh options to employees and some even giving free leaves, Capgemini has no infrastructure to support WFH option. They are short of laptops is what they say. They are asking people to come to office . 2) Micromanagement for no reason. 3) Salary lower than most of the companies
