Pros

- If you enjoy frequent reorgs, unclear and constantly shifting priorities, this may be the place for you

Cons

- High turnover created constant instability - Morale was generally low across departments - Leadership lacked transparency in decision-making - Frequent strategic pivots with little explanation - Feedback was inconsistent and often reactive - Too many approval layers for simple decisions - Poor documentation and knowledge transfer

Pros

- Good Salary - Good Benefits - Modern Tech (mostly)

Cons

- No stock options - Performance management is ridiculous. Every 6 months you get “stack ranked” against all the other associates at your level in your org and the bottom X% (I’ve heard anywhere from 7-15%) get PIP’ed. Even if you’re in a high performing org they have to cut a certain number of people by mandate. It’s terrible for moral and causes a lot of unnecessary stress, and often ends up forcing out good people. They also won’t account for personal circumstances *at all* so if you have a major medical issue for one performance period well… good luck.

Pros

- Most of the people I work with regularly are very good, both technically and as people - Very competitive salary and benefits - Generally good hybrid in-office culture. Special days for things like free breakfast, or various events and celebrations.

Cons

- Stack ranking with forced distributions creates unnecessary competition, and not in a good way. Also depresses associate morale on a larger scale. - Many practices that are more performative than substantive, in service of the "influence" competency. - For a company that claims to be a tech company, they are very stingy on the stock awards compared to other large tech companies. - Giving managers and Sr. managers more responsibility, without the support or resources to implement. - Constant reorgs and rebrandings, often during the same year, so you have no idea which organization you're working for.
