Pros

Benefits, flexible working hours, I can't think of anything.

Cons

Only speak for the Plano location. Leadership High egos, no room for criticism. They won't be there when you need them, but they will show up to take some of your credits or even present your work as theirs when you do something good. The highest leader treats himself like a god and people 'worship' him. Org Structure Lots of reorgs. Strict hierarchy, hard to get exposure. Promotion Favoritism is the key to promotion. Questionable Hiring Practice for UX/Product Design They once hired someone who only had internship experience as a principal designer. They also hired lots of visual/graphic designers with a senior/principal title to do product design work. Team Culture There are PMs who cared about doing sustainable and scalable products. But many don't and profits always go first. Also, PMs are dominating and treat designers and researchers like crap. Diversity and Inclusion Many people of color left. You have to 'fit' in and speak their language to feel welcomed. Finally, high turnover rate. Talented people left or are planning to leave.

Pros

You get at least four weeks of PTO as a new hire, and you can purchase additional PTO.

Cons

Using your PTO and it not being held against you is contingent on which department you are in. If you don’t have a “back up”, your work will pile up and your metrics will suffer. If you are black, you will likely experience being held “under a microscope”, no opportunities for career advancement, harassment if you take any type of Leave of Absence(FMLA), No assistance from Associate Relations because they are ONLY advocates for managers, and no inclusion because your opinion doesn’t matter, even though they ask for it.

Pros

- Pay is nice if you are being hired out of college - HSA is pretty nice - Stock Purchase Program. Stock is bought at the end of the month and can be sold once they hit your account. - Work life balance can be great depending on team

Cons

- If you are experienced hire you will be paid less than an entry level college hire - Company will make you lazy. Coding is secondary here. AWS and buggy enterprise tools is all you will deal with. - Performance Management Process is absolutely horrendous. Stack ranking makes performance management a popularity contest. You need to know how to play office politics. - No COL raises. Only merit raises. They will only give non merit based raises to TDPs (entry level college hires) - Work life balance can be horrible depending on team. - Getting promotions is heavily dependent on the organization you get hired to.
