Pros

vacation time (when you get to use it), benefits, working hours

Cons

every month they are changing the name of a position, basically to a name that isn't as big and also lowering the level of pay for anyone trying to be promoted to that job. Also not refilling position of people who left that position previously and having the other manager or employee take over all job duties without a pay increase. Managment style is " I don't care what happend or why, just do it or your fired" You always have to watch what you say or do, managment takes a "your gonna get it now" attitude when they find out that you don't like something and try to just weed you out. Watch our, they may fire you for the littlest of reasons just before they plan ssettlements. Watch out you may get fired for the smallest of things just before a layoff or branch closing due to not paying unemployment or severences.

Pros

-Pay and benefits are good and probably on par or above similar organizations -Smart staff. Co-workers are very intelligent, hard-working people -Company is doing relatively well in a tough environment

Cons

-Sr. Executives and Management leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to people mgmt -Compliance's support of the organization is driven by organizational changes, no fore-thought put into how Compliance should be used to support a growing, geographically diverse organization -HR is becoming more vague and secretive regarding pay and benefits.

Pros

work/life balance, quality of co-workers, pretty good compensation and benefits, nice facilities, the company is open to associates trying out new roles/groups to build new skills or just to get a change

Cons

opportunities to advance upward are scant, a lot of people run around trying to look busy but not adding much value, at time an excessive consensus-building atmosphere leads to too many people at too many meetings taking too long to make decisions (or the decision changes week to week for a long time)
