Pros

There is a tremendous sense of team spirit across departments. We get lots of cooperation and help on projects from the management and engineers.

Cons

Technical opportunities don't exist above a certain salary grade. The research department does not get enough recognition because the work may not pass into production.

Pros

Good Salaries, good benefits, and one of the best places to work. The work atmosphere is also great and laid back.

Cons

Sometimes the engineers are stretched too thin, especially when funds are unavailable for hiring or adding engineers to the projects.

Pros

Global Exposure. Multiple Businesses and opportunities when times are good. People are generally polite and avoid conflict. Most management employees think they are 'tenured' and do not see job as at risk.

Cons

Senior Management very disconnected form reality. Rewards a 'yes man' attitude. Promotions were not based on ability to get results, but purely on ability to make pretty powerpoint presentations and supporting a 'country club' leadership.
