      Pros

      Probably an above average compensation package. They recruit directly from college. Many colleges during good economic times, though only a handful during recessions such as 2009 and going into 2010. Large employee network, even if the diversity is stunted (see Cons).

      Cons

      Lack of diversity. A random walk around engineering groups seems like they are 3/4 or more south asian. Career advancement is probably typical for large organizations: almost nil and mostly political. Because the customers are mostly enterprise, the work will be mostly performance and cost driven and you rarely have room for feature creativity.

      Latest technologies and always expanding Generally smart people Travel opportunities outside the US Will stay in business while many other companies may not be there in future

      Cons

      Very little promotional opportunity unless you are well connected and part of the clicks Very long hours Compensation being managed down for many years - aims to be in the middle of the industry Stock never moves - no more options given No job security - if you have a bad acct or bad BU you are cut irrespective of years in the company and performance
