Large Corporate to have a good stable career

Cons

Citi is an old conglomerate which comes with some cons but as it's pivoting to using AI the future is bright.

Pros

Work/Life Balance (Dependent upon the group but I lucked out the last 2 years there) Career development opportunities (You have to chase it - it won't be handed to you)

Cons

Lay-Offs rampant for the past few years making it an uncertain/stressful environment Internal mobility is very challenging Bonus is VERY arbitrary and tends to be low so it's hard to determine how much you will get. Negotiate high salary at hiring There are concerning levels of misogony and bias towards women of color that will impact you especially as you move up.
