Pros

Opportunity to make a lot of money if you work long long hours. Flexibility of creating your own schedule. Opportunity to meet clients both inside and outside of the office.

Cons

You work six to seven days a week working ten to twelve hour days. Taking time off in the beginning of your career is detrimental to building a successful business.

Pros

Flex hours, work from home when needed.

Cons

Benefits get worse every year, it's a race to zero. No growth, no bonus regardless of performance. Bell curve evaluation process, somebody must get a poor review even if everyone performs well. New hires are over compensated with lofty titles and bonus guarantees, while existing loyal performers get no growth and no bonus. Toxic work environment, when the going gets rough, the fingers start pointing. Lot's of in-fighting and empire building.

Pros

Not sure of any pro's other than the normal you would receive from any other corporate setting.

Cons

Upper management only work of numbers, they have no idea how "IT" really works, which usually result in decisions that are half effective if at all.
