Pros

Even though it is a large bulge bracket firm, the divisions are run more or less autonomously, atleast in my experience. Office politics seemed to be lower than the average financial conglomerate.

Cons

Senior management often treats junior analysts like worker drones, innovation is not encouraged. If you are happy just performing your role and nothing else then it is the right place for you.

Citi makes makes it easier achive worklife balance by allowing non-exempt employees to to work remotely at least parttime, without haveing to complete a flexible work arrangement schedule.

Cons

Merit Increases and bonuses at Citi are all but non-existent. Citi does not invest it's employees by best-in class training.

Pros

Seems like a nice place to work with opportunities aplenty. I would recommend them to anybody. Although I haven't been there long yet.

Cons

Some people say the end of year assessments are unfair as no one gets rating one and ratings two are only available to one member of team despite more than one member potentially deserving a two rating.
