Pros

- Huge behemoth. Plenty of career opportunities. - Flexibility to lay your path. Most are open for job rotations after 1-1.5 yrs. - Base pay

Cons

- Bureaucratic: Red tape all over. - Bonus: Less than competition. - Legacy: Less hiring implies no new ideas. Old ways of doing things at times.

Pros

Citigroup had a very structured team system with many managers and teams. You could transfer to another team if the managers agreed. Every team was different. These teams allowed for a lot of professional growth.

Cons

Some of the management used a trickle down approoach with information which was very hard because things were constantly changing. Sometimes different people same positions would have different procedures etc. There was not a lot of consistency in performance because of this issue.
