Pros

Flexibility on working hours, minimal supervision on staff, free staff shoe entitlment every quarter, 50% discount given for shoe purchases.

Cons

Higher management focused too much on the macro management side, thus neglected the voices and feedback of the lower level staff. Too anxious in implementing new systems when the existing ones are having too much of unresolved issues. Feedback of middle and lower management/staff are gathered but higher management insisted on rolling out the new systems. Thus, created a lot of resentment in staff executing daily work. Little pay rise each year, and forced to go for retail work due to stores having manpower problems. Office staffs are busy with daily coordination yet still have to compromise time for this event. Bosses often give unclear instructions and when asked, they turned the words around, different from what they have instructed previously.

Pros

Monthly bonus, tons of PTO and sick time.

Cons

As a manager you are required to use your personal cell phone for all work calls. You MUST answer your phone at all times. You are treated like a slave from upper manager and they make you feel worthless. The DM's never answer their phones, emails or offer help. When they visit they scream at you and tell you everything you are doing wrong and never offer to assist in any way. The staff is paid very low and you are required to meet unattainable goals. There is no room for advancement in the company, once you become an MIT you will be stuck in that position till you leave. There are currently no General Managers in my area and the highest level of management are two MIT's both who have been told they are not fit to have the title store manager because the company wont pay. The DM only looks out for what will make the DM bonus and will treat you like a slave.

Pros

Great Benefits, generous discount, time off accrual was superior

Cons

Our district rarely sees positive feedback for a job done above and beyond, favoritisim overshadows profesionalism, allowing for a "one team against the other" attitude - now an all for one goal attitude: HR, RMs and DMs in our area are friends on a personal level (even on each others' Facbook pages discussing nights of partying)- this makes it difficult and treacherous to lodge a complaint: HR doesn't keep complaints confidential. DMs work well with midlevel sales stores for improvement. Poorly performing stores get reprimanded and little help, above par stores rarely are recognized for their performance and are overlooked.
