Pros
There is a ton of talent at DISH. Granted, it is mostly wasted and completely taken advantage of. But you will work with some of the most ambitious, innovative and creative people here.
Cons
DISH truly takes exploitation to the next level. Whether it's trying out an internship program for new graduates at a pay level of less than they can make at a fast-food restaurant (and without the amount of stress, toxicity and long hours), or using patenting meetings to steal their employees ideas for profit. You name it, they've got a way to make that happen. There is so much potential wasted at DISH. Their reputation proceeds them for a reason and they will continue to operate as such until it's no longer sustainable. I mean, profitable. You can do better than this place. But if the opportunity presents itself and you can get by with your head down for a good amount of time, the experience you gain will be so much more useful anywhere else and for much more pay.
