Pros

There are not many jobs out there so if you are desperate I guess it's better than nothing?

Cons

Worst management I have ever seen. Constantly lied to and given two days notice to change a shift. Management is clueless as well and just don't care about anything but covering their own ass. Mandatory overtime with little or no notice on when you can work it. Totally deserves the title of WORST place to work in the US. Joe Clayton is an Ivory Tower loser not interested in changing anything except trying to make as many millions as he can while chewing up and spitting out as many employees as it takes to make an extra dollar. What a pathetic company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros

It's a job. A terrible one, but a job nonetheless.

Cons

Terrible benefits (potential new hires have rejected offers solely on the awful benefits package alone.) Terrible work environment. Employee morale is non-existant, and I dreaded each and every day that I was employed there. No bonuses or opportunities for growth or advancement. No one believes in the products, and there is no care or concern for making products better or easier-to-use for the consumer. Departments do not share information, and executives don't know what's happening from team to team. General attitude is to work employees 75+ hour weeks, only to tell them to work harder with no recognition of accomplishments. Management prides itself on tearing teams apart.

Pros

Not the worst Job I have had, but it's heading down that direction.

Cons

Dish no longer cares about their employee's and everybody is just a number to them and can easily be replaced. So far this year, we have seen every type of employee from Field Service, Management, Human Resources, and Training get let go during their newly found "talent upgrade" process. They have been pushing all their employees to the limit to see how much work they can topple on top of them and the breaking point can now be seen with many dissatisfied surveys here and with the internal survey that they are currently conducting. The technicians are our hardest working employees of the company, yet they are being overworked and not properly compensated for. When they complain to us about their day to day issues, we as their managers are not allowed to sympathize with them and are told to tell them "Hey, it's what you get paid for. You either do it or go find another job."
