      While working for dish. I was fired with no warning even when I didn’t do anything wrong. I was terminated because of my poor metrics. However, my metrics were bad because I was forced to take on jobs I had no training in. I started the job as a dish tech and was then forced to do Ontech work. I had no training in this department. By this time all jobs I was FORCED to do counted towards my metrics. Trying to learn new skills while keeping a 90 percent score was a task I couldn’t keep up with. Once I got my grip on both dish and Ontech work. I was then FORCED to train new hires. Even though I wasn’t a lvl 2 tech. ( company guidelines stated only lvl 2 techs and above should be eligible to train. ) I wanted to help and I wanted to get promoted so I went along and not complaining. After all this management fired me with no warning. They set me up for failure and then tossed me like trash.

      Pros

      The people who are not in management are great, unfortunately every friend you make ends up leaving for better options.

      Cons

      1. Very toxic culture when it comes to "core hours" and "flexibility". 2.This is not a female friendly company, barely any woman in leadership, no maternity leave, and pay gaps 3. Most of the people in management roles are there because of tenure and obeying leadership in a "yes sir" fashion, not because they have the correct experience for the role 4. Company ethics and leadership ethics are very poor (If I could say more about this topic I would) 5. Your role may change after a week of being there, there is such high turnover that you end up doing multiple jobs If you are offered a job here, please think long and hard about your decision. I started looking for a new job a month after I started here.

      Pros

      With so many holes in the company you learn real quick. Competitive pay.

      Cons

      Lack of direction, lack of leadership, lack of benefits for working mothers/fathers, lack of cohesion between departments, extremely competitive and secretive. Every decision made HAS to go to the top - nothing gets done, nothing changes that way. Company is simply not people forward.
