      Pros

      Challenging, evolving, cerebral, bleeding edge are just a few of the words that I would use to describe the current mood at DISH! Not only are we surrounded by some of the sharpest minds in the media technology industry, as proven by our leading edge Hopper with Sling, and Auto-Hop, but also some of the most aggressive free thinkers as proven by the recent bids on Sprint, Clearwire, and Light Squared. With the change in management philosophies, so has come the strong leadership driving a worker friendly environment. I enjoy coming to work everyday and watching how the new DISH evolves!!

      They win. This company is creating great technology and will be around when TV changes. Keep up the good work. Joe Clayton is a good CEO who has made the company a better company.

      Benefits and Pay are middle of the road. Thats about it. If you want a company where you will be asked to work this is the one. They work hard!

      The question is what do u expect from your work? Most of us work because we have to support ourselves... our families... Yes, it's the green dollar bills that we need. On the contrary, when you are good at what you do, you also expect that good options will be there to grow and be successful... you expect respect from others, timely & appropriate considerations from the upper managements when you've shone on your field. I've been working with Dish Network over a year now. I must say I really had some negative information/ideas about the company before I joined... I was amazed to experience the depths of friendliness from everyone at the office, availability of opportunities at every level, and the surprise counselings readily available from higher management staffs whenever its needed. Honestly, things are not how some websites tell you how they are... If you are willing to work responsibly, be punctual, and have a desire to grow with the company - Dish Network is the place to be.

      Cons

      Even though the 401k is great health benefits should be a little more dependable. Eyes and Dentals are great. But the overall package needs to be more lucrative.
