Don’t do it

Pros

Money can be good., but the targets change almost weekly

Cons

Absolutely NO job security. Talk to people at the site and they will say enjoy it while you can, because tomorrow you may not be there. My whole team turned over in less than 3 months. 9 people terminated. Health insurance is awful. You can get better, less expensive insurance on the open market. People on the phones yell at you all day. Almost every call is listened to and graded. If you make mistakes, you get a tier. Too many tiers and you’re gone. Those change weekly and you aren’t notified about those changes. Out of 100+ people at this site, less than 5% have made it a year. Don’t make any long term plans.

False Salary Promises

Pros

*Uncapped Commission* if you meet their convoluted commission guidelines...

Cons

Their 'uncapped commission' is an advertising ploy to draw in new employees (due to the extremely high attrition rate) You make $14 an hour starting (29k a year BEFORE taxes) - no matter what experience you have They claim the average salary for this position is 55k+ and that their top employees make 6 figures - lies. They have a convoluted way of 'calculating' if you get a commission for a call and chances are you won't come anywhere near 55k your first year, no matter how many customers you retain/upgrade. You're basically their EXTREMELY underpaid sales force. In most cases you will have to wait MONTHS to even begin training - everyone I talked to had the same experience as me, quick interviews and offers and then a start date 2-3 months away.
