Mediocre across the board

Pros

Liked my direct supervisor so so much.

Cons

Badge reports, which they say are flexible, but apparently not flexible enough to get rid of. They track when you enter and exit the building. Even if you want to go on a walk at lunch, better be back inside by two, or else you have to go back to the front and badge in. Mediocre executive leadership and mediocre benefits.

Pros

Work on a variety of projects They know their problems. “How Dish rewards its employees is by taking their best employees and throwing them in a deeper darker hole with no extra help or comp.” -regional director of 15 years experience at Dish You will be very happy when you leave

Cons

Heavy favoritisms where if you are not seeing 100% brown nosing you will not get promoted. Take your salary or offer and multiply by at least 30%. That will be your salary about anywhere else or that was my experience but multiply by 70%. They know their problems and choose to do nothing meaningful about them. There is a very authoritarian and blame culture. Ver rare any work is reviewed and they will happily take the credit , but if anything is wrong it is rare a manager will stand up for you.

Sexist and Toxic

Pros

Decent pay, good direct report for management

Cons

When you walk into the corporate office get ready to feel like you are in the 1950's. This is the most sexist and volatile workplace I have ever experienced. The company is focused on the bottom line only, but won't adopt new ways or innovate to improve. Communication from the executive team is non-existent. Covid protocol is the worst. Retention is terrible. If you enjoy working for a bunch of old white men who like to throw temper tantrums and blame others for their incompetency then this is the place for you. Benefits are terrible as they tout "Opportunity is the greatest benefit" again the benefit of old white men. There is no paternity leave and for your anniversaries you get a clock and a silver frame.
