- good work/life balance/boundaries. VERY rare to work weekends. I had to work 2 hours on a Saturday once in 2 years, and that, in itself, is super rare. Nobody else ever needed to on my team.
- the people are generally pretty nice
- CPAW is a decent work philosophy
Cons
- the pay is terrible and does not keep up with market changes
- clock watching
- no inclement weather policy
- took covid to have a kind of ok wfh policy, but was still terrible about the whole situation
- lots of legacy code that's a pain to work around
