Pros

- Nice office in Albany - Challenging projects - After work activities were really fun - Great colleagues Seemed to be a good place, with sound management, a direction and a plan.

Cons

- Too many management changes - Lacking direction and identity - Has become a hire and fire company - Top Down autocratic management from remote Was great but everything changed in 2017 with new remote oversight from the Framingham office. Framingham now call the shots, but they are not very good and have no concept whatsoever. It's all about sending work to Boston, not building Albany. People get used/abused then thrown away. The Albany office lost all identity and ability to direct their future. The key senior people saw this and started resigning, culminating in the well respected office manager leaving.

Pros

There is not any good reason to work there

Cons

During my work at DPS I got threatened couple of times by architectural manager! He is a paranoid and depressed person who think everyone is fighting with him! In fact he is fighting with everyone, he made a mess there! People are so stressed out and don’t have enough work to do !

Pros

Company is growing rapidly and has lots of opportunities. They have lots of initiatives that show they care about their employees including a gender diversity group, mentor program, peer recognition program, High Potential program to name a few. They have lots of social gatherings as well.

Cons

There needs to be better communication between departments.
