Competitive Salary, Good Perks and compensation package. Challenging work and a chance for personal reward and growth with the right attitude. The possibility to work with some exciting products and technologies. For the really skilled and good networker oportunities for career progression. The international atmosphere at the workplace. Highly compettive atmosphere.

Cons

Job security is maybe not the best. One day you wake up and find out that your job has been outsourced to another party without you being able to do anything about the situation. Dell is a big company and not much influence on any decisions at all. Highly compettive atmosphere.

Pros

The compensation package was very satisfying. The cafe had good food. There are very cool and talented people working there. The ones not trying to stab you in the back, that is.

Cons

Invisible management, office politics like I've never seen before, and the only way I knew I was fired was that my badge didn't work anymore. The jockeying for position to be seen by management when they do show their faces is ridiculous. I felt like I was in high school again. I've never EVER seen so many people try and throw co-workers under the bus in my life. it was almost a sport to them.

Pros

Dell is a results driven company. You show results and you will get noticed. Also, Dell's culture is very direct, and thus very transparent. You are accountable for your actions, and that for me, it's very important as a key part of the company's culture.

Cons

Dell is not yet a Global company. It relies too much on the US market for its revenue, and it is now trying to shift that mix to outside of US. Problem is however, that it takes a paradigm, culture shift, that takes time and focus. Most often than not, resources are still being focused, in my opinion, to the US market more than the rest of the world. That needs to be changed quickly.
