      Pros

      Big company with name recognition. For the technical folks, tremendous effort provided by the company to provide the best training available. For everyone else, it's a bit hit or miss. Benefits are average to good, salary and bonus tied together make the compensation competitive. Starting to finally realize who the competition is and that serious work is necessary to compete in the global market.

      Cons

      Day to day management seems to always be in a crisis mode. Been at Dell less than three years and have experienced 2 major reorganizations, currently working for my 3rd director. Doesn't seem to be a consistent strategy that can be used to plan around and exectued

      Pros

      I can't think of any current good reasons to work there, right off the top of my head--even though I worked there a total of 9 years. Had I answered this question 10 years ago, I could have rattled off 20 good reasons without stopping to think. Enough said.

      Management, HR, Management, and HR. Total lack of ethics, morals, and truth-telling.
