Most managers are very nice and fun to work with, gives you lots of hours during peak months

Cons

Certain events / weekends cannot be asked off, limited opportunities for advancement

Pros

If you always liked traveling and or always wanted to travel, work for Hilton and get the good benefits of $39 a night anywhere in the world if available.

Cons

Outside social life can be defeated since your schedule must be flexible especially as a manager or supervisor. Days off are always fluctuating and weekends is a must, if you don't like your weekends ruined don't work for a hotel. End of story.

Pros

They provided a lot of career opportunities, if I wanted to work for another Hilton branch I would have been considered before external candidates.

Cons

It used to be a hotel with a sense of community but has now become a corporate institution. They are also guest focused instead of staff focused.
