Pros

Best job I've ever had. Incredible opportunity to build products that customers love, and work on an important mission to protect organizations from data breach. The company is growing quickly. For those who see this as an opportunity to have a big impact on the company, it's a wonderful place to roll up your sleeves and dive in. Really good work/life balance. Incredibly smart, kind people. I'm eager to come into work every day. I'm excited by the nature of my work, and my collaborators. I'm learning a lot, have autonomy, support from my manager, and room to grow.

Cons

If you're someone who thrives in an environment that doesn't change very much, or has a lot of structure and processes already in place, you might not thrive here. Duo is growing and changing quickly. It makes it fun and exciting, but only if you're interested in chipping in on the project of building the company itself.

Learning, support from your leader. and the ability to grow your career with us are core to who we are at Duo. While we still have a lot of work to do to continue to invest in these areas as we scale, feedback like this helps us see our progress so far. Thank you for sharing!

Pros

Making money. Free cheap food some days (pizza and bagels). Crappy free coffee. Nothing else but this section requires twenty words.

Cons

Fake, inauthentic culture . Undermining coworkers. Incompetent management. Deceitful labor practices. Unknowingly staff drones think its like Silicon Valley. Avoid unless you like working with nasty alcoholics (have keg onsite... to seem "cool").

Thank you for sharing your review. I take all feedback very seriously, and would appreciate you sharing your experiences in confidence with me, as our other systems for anonymous and open dialog (employee engagement surveys, Ask Duo Anything forums, etc.) seem to have failed you. I want Duo to be a great place to work, but also a great place to have been from. I’d like to work together to make any fixes where we can, or personally help to find you the next career move if you haven’t found the right opportunity with us. -- Dug

Pros

From the begging of the recruiting process it was clear that Duo was different from other places I have applied. The recruiting staff impressed me with their speed of follow up, willingness to answer all my questions, and setting expectations on how the process would work. Alissa Hebert was a pleasure to work with and made me feel like I was the only person she was recruiting, which I doubt was the case. From there I had great phone interviews with the Director of Corporate Security and Senior Manager of Security Operations. I was pleasantly surprised that both of them reserved at least half of the interview for my questions and concerns. They really wanted to make sure I understood the role and was comfortable with the job. Finally the on-site interviews was a fantastic experience and I left feeling even if I didn't get the job my time onsite was invaluable to my professional growth. The values at Duo are not an afterthought but guiding principles that are baked into everything from the hiring process to the products. It is so refreshing to work with such a diverse, supportive, and talented group of people. I have received more valuable feedback from my peers at Duo then in my previous 15 years of working combined.

Cons

The biggest challenge for me at Duo is the size of the organization. Historically I have worked in small organizations(<50 people) as a consultant and making the leap to being an employee has taken some time to get used to.
