Pros

No pros. I'm trying to think, but seriously, NO PROS!!

Cons

EY India treats its employees like trash/slaves. They are overworked, underpaid. You think you would get to work on good projects and learn in the process. But all you get to learn is lies and corruption, politics and treachery. The Partners are pretty bad, they only care about the money, and not about their people. Their incentive structure is such that it aligns only with the new business that they bring in. No opportunities to learn and grow professionally. Toxic culture - 3 out of 12 people on my team have developed high blood pressure and anxiety disorders; 9 out of 12 have started smoking. You can imagine how the work culture is. The quality of employees is also bad - no emphasis on team. The HR is the worst you can imagine. They have an unwritten rule - never help the employee, even if you can. My advice: stay away from EY India if you want to have a good career, if you want to learn and progress and if you want to have a long healthy life.

Pros

Good Brand value. Decent hike/compensation as per performance

Cons

Bad HR policies -The HR values of the firm are not applied to all the teams. There are teams that adhere to it and then there are teams where you have seniors who scream, shout and insult analysts on the floor because they know that there are no HR consequences that they will face.
