making people work 12+ hours a day the people in the SDC make 30% + less than regular EY employee, under the guise of work life balance, however they seem to been talking advantage of the current times by having people work ridiculous hours

You get paid so bad. Like really bad. No matter how hard you work, the only way to move up faster is getting into a lucky situation where something you can do is desperately needed, and even if that is the case, unless you can negotiate, they'll just exploit you to do the work and pay you the same. You'll reach a point where you do just enough to not get fired, as there's no reason to do anything more. They don't care about you, why care about them? For the record, I was rated the highest rating 4 years in a row, and got nothing extra. I discussed this with directors and they said they want to change that, but good luck essentially.
