It's good for remote work, and entry salaries can be great.
Cons
They encumber you with useless courses and if you don't finish them, then you're not eligible for salary increase. While at the same time you have to attend to your client all the time. Time management is next to impossible.
There is a lot of great opportunity at EY, with clients and experts in every industry. It’s very possible to carve out your own career path, switch service lines and geographies, and build a professional reputation. The pay is good and benefits are excellent.
Cons
There is a lot of internal politics, rivalry, and layers of management. Even as EY advises executives on how to run companies, the firm’s own internal management is a mess. The internal technology stack is soul-sucking. The firm positions itself as a bold, innovative leader, but often its own house is a mess.
