Pros

Good experience of working in a big organization. Learn how to get things done in a complex organization structure. Excellent hands on industry Experience (depends on the team and our immediate senior you work with) You are the face of the firm, you have be responsible and take ownership. You get travel a lot and sometimes absolutely alone, that teaches you a lot in handling life situations.

Cons

The biggest negative is the salary, you are paid peanuts, Getting around 15000 per month is actually very disappointing. Second there is no work life balance at all. You usually are supposed to work for 40 hours a week, but rarely anyone works for only 40 hours, it usually extends to 60-70 hours a week. Officially weekends are off, but its an unsaid rule that Saturdays are working and whenever required you have to spend your Sundays in office only. Some of the seniors treat their subordinates as the Executive Assistants and unload all their operational work (cab bookings, travel ticket bookings, printing jobs), this really frustrates.

Pros

Access to training and knowledge base is a plus.

Cons

Partners are out for themselves and do not promote a collaborative, team-based approach. High turnover as expectations on business development, utilization, and practice development result in 80+ work weeks.

Pros

1. Maternity benefits as far as I heard from other employees like having connections with some renowed hospitals. But the just mothers has to come to office after 3 months and one has to fight a lot to avail the WORK FROM HOME that too only for 4 hours a day, the remaing 4 hours the mom has to come to office to work. 2. Insurance policy. I know many employers give these kind of benefits to the employees but can't think of anything other than these two

Cons

As a tax analyst. 1. Even in my interview they clearly specified that I cannot expect the Work Life Balance. Atleast one has to work for 12 hours in the office in the Tax season that is 8 months per year. 6 days per week in the busy season. If employee is sick they have to come to work on Sunday as well to compensate. 2. Severe stress from the team leads and the managers, which is one of the reasons for me to quit. 3. Kind of a data entry job. 4. Difficult to switch jobs since only few companies like Delloitte, KPMG and PWC deals with taxes. 5. Hostile work environment
