Pros

- Excellent exposure to world-class talent - Gym on site - Career development - Well organised and efficient staff - Team structure

Cons

Will fire you illegally in certain roles as a young women if you are pregnant and will find any loophole available to ensure that they are legally protected. You must have the "right" personality to keep your job, you can be a good person with a great work ethic and still not have the high-school "popular" girl vibe that they are looking for. It's simply not good enough to do a great job here, you have to really look the part too, and even compete in your outside of work, social life. If they think your weekend sounds "boring", you're automatically out of the club. I was told on my first day never to wear flats again, because I should be able to "seduce" the managers. Overall, it's a big boys club with a few post-child bearing aged women at the top of the league. Everyone else is very transient and simply looking for a short term boost to their resume. Can't recommend at all.

Cons

Work-Life Balance Challenges: Maintaining a work-life balance can be difficult due to the demanding nature of the job, with long hours often required to meet deadlines and client expectations. High-Pressure Environment: The fast-paced and high-stakes environment at EY can lead to significant stress and pressure. Toxic Culture: Toxic work culture characterized by intense competition, lack of support, and poor management practices, which can affect overall job satisfaction and morale. Pros

Some of the newer employees who haven't been acclimated to the ways of working at EY are friendly to work with.

Cons

All senior employees believe that working from 7AM - 11PM is the standard working hour. They even ask graduates to do the same even if there is no work to be done to show the client that the team is working hard. Most of the actual work being done involves formatting power point presentation. This is work that even a manager does. You don't get to do any meaningful work.
