Great experience, good for resume, work with great companies, easy to get promoted within the company. great perks and benefits.

Cons

I worked extreme hours for most of the year. I was on an initial public offering team, and worked 100 weeks consistenly.

Pros

Great brand name Nice offices in London Friendly Senior Managers Some interesting work with Senior Managers and outside of my department I don't have to travel outside London for my role

Cons

I work 50+ hour weeks and there is still work left pending, and it's not because I am slow! Junior management do not scope work properly, and represent to Senior Management that work will take less time than it actually does. They then moan when extra time is booked to projects. Horrendous internal systems based on Lotus Notes do not help matters, administrative nightmare. Compounded by hiearchical and beaurocractic approach that comes with the big 4. Can't believe I am writing a review like this after being with the firm 4 months!
