Pros

The money and benefits Fast track learning Good place to start a career

Cons

Be aware of some skillsets that could go undeveloped such as business analysis and actual hands on with experience with accounting systems Even though they said you have until before your manager level to complete the CPA, they want you to have it NOW The culture is not conducive to people who did not go to college with their managers, if you catch my drift. Its still a good ole boy system. So brush up on your baseball and beer pong skills, and take a trip to Europe. Due to the high work load since the layoffs, your seniors and manager expect you to literally live at the client site. Not good if you need clean clothes to wear to work...

Pros

Everything depends on the team and the people you meet. If you get in a good line (by chance or by effort), then you will get good work, meet awesome people, and your work life will be easy. Benefits is OK, except 401K policy changed so they don't pay out until end of the year.

Cons

Salary had no increase in 2009, not even people who made manager or senior managers - their salaries stayed the same. A lot of upper management people don't seem to really care about the employees - they are interested in utilization utilization and let me say it again, utilization. Treating employees like 5 year olds, constantly pressuring for chargeable hours... doesn't make people want to stay!
