Pros

There are a lot of smart people at EY that are committed to helping you succeed. There are also great perks

Cons

The most obvious con would be the lack of work/life balance. EY management preach Work/Life balance, but the concept is rarely put into practice -- especially for lower ranking employees.

Pros

They provide great training. The professional development that is continuously offered really helps to refine your technical skills. It's an incredibly professional atmosphere.

Cons

Its size makes it difficult to really make it possible for you to feel as if you are a meaninful part of the company.

Pros

They expect a lot, but they also give a lot in return. It's a high performance place that rewards hard work, enthusiasm and people with initiative. The environment is very collaborative and team oriented. It's wonderful to work in a place where I respect and admire my peers and my managers.

Cons

Different practices have different sub-cultures, depending on the practice leaders. None are necessarily bad, but they may not always be the right fit. Try to figure out what you're getting in to. Also, there is a very subtle, unofficial hierarchy: client servers tend to look down on "support" personnel.
