      Pros

      There are few reasons why I would recomment E&Y to other friends: - E&Y is great place to start a career; - great opportunity if you like career mobility; - great people to work with; - people around you are self driven and highly motivated - you can drive your own career

      Cons

      The Company is getting better at recognizing the importance of flexibility and work/life balance, a lot of people still find it a challenge to be able to maintain a work life balance. Afterall, we are in client serving business and people need to recognize the fact this is not a 9 - 5 job.

      Pros

      Name recognition, reputation. Good stepping stone that may open doors for future employment opportunities.

      Cons

      They chew you up, and spit you out. Flexibility does not exists for client-serving professionals that have families, since there's always someone younger and with less "baggage" that could do your job.

      Pros

      E&Y offeres a flexible work environment surrounded by the best and the brightest people. If you enjoy working with smart, hard working people who take ownership and responsibility for their work, you will generally get this within the Firm. Traning opportunities, growth and experience early in your career are not easy to match in another organization, if you take advantage of it. You will work hard, however, the pay and benefits are good compared to other organizations. If you don't want to work, then find another company.

      Cons

      You will work hard and this is expected. You also have a lot of flexibility to counteract this. This is a political organization so you have to be prepared to learn how to navigate this type of environment.
