Finally some leaders that have implemented PROCESSES into what various areas of the company need to do to be able to measure success.

Cons

Too much heritage Datatel thinking and believing their way is the best way -- every time. Come on. You merged with a big company that knows a thing or two about higher education. Lets get everyone contributing and listening to get better in every way!

The days of the Pros are gone, it was ONCE 3 great separate companies. Sungard laid the foundation for ruining 2 of the 3, ellucian finished the job by adding Datatel.

Cons

They lost the elements that once mange them individually great. Employees have been in survival mode for a decade, many don't leave because of the benefits and vacation.

Large company, trying to do the right things. Salaries in acceptable range. Remote/Telecommuting available.

Cons

Too many mergers in past few years and a bad job of melding the different entities. Corporate direction is rudderless and seems to change every 18 - 24 months.
