Pros

Positive people and a good work environment. Local managers and team. Corporate rarely interfered with local decisions. Managers were mostly hands off and relied on employees to do their work.

Cons

This company doesn't exist anymore after the merger of Datatel+SGHE. During the merger the Bain Corporation stripped out all the competent senior management and replaced them.

Legacy Datatel was a great company.

Great people. Interesting clients. Opportunity to learn an entire industry from highly experienced sales team. Great culture among the people who made it all work

Cons

Salaries were low when compared to the industry. Newer leadership after original CEO's death very obviously concerned with cost containment and profit. The great culture that built the company for the executive's pay.
