Pros

A very busy hotel. There is a convention center that supplies plenty of guest for the hotel. A excellent AGM of rooms . A great number of employees that are loyal and care about the service they provide.

Cons

2 of the 3 executive managers are unfair and unethical. Hourly employees that are qualified for promotions are regularly passed over for friends of the management team that have no experience for the job they are promoted to. HR policies regarding promotions and transfers are sometimes disregarded so that these friends of management can be promoted over other employees that qualify for the same opportunities. The management team will follow the rules when they don't like someone while ignoring or as they say "work around the policy" when they have someone they do like.

Pros

Embassy Suites is a wide-known company in the U.S and has a lot of room for growth. It is one of the several brands that Hilton Inc. owns and they do have set standards that impact each employee personal benefits and has a huge influence on location standards. The Embassy brand is great for business travelers because of its complimentary breakfast buffet and complimentary evening reception.

Cons

Having Hilton as a "big brother" can be tough. There are a lot of mandates that are installed upon all Embassy Suites that do not work per location and brand. It can be tough to assume that one set guideline(from Hilton corporation) will work for many different brands.

Pros

Good benefits, flexible schedules and great management. Some opportunity to grow. Good atmosphere from co-workers that enjoy working in the hotel industry.

Cons

Average paid, opportunity to grow is limited to the ara you work for, hard to cross to a different filed like sales unless you already have the experience
