Pros

Excellent work environment with highly dynamic people. Never a dull moment as there is always something new to learn in order to apply to the continuously evolving medical device regulatory world.

Cons

None really in comparison to other companies that I have worked for.

Pros

Great Benefits, flexible schedule, family friendly options, great vacation package, friendly atmosphere... Honestly, I could speak all day about the many benefits Emergo has. I believe we have one of the best working environments around. All the staff are friendly and we have a very equal work force. There is no sexism or any other type of culture like that prevalent here, almost all of the management positions are held by women, which is great and nurtures a positive equal workforce. I really love working here, definitely one of the most progressive places for women to work in 2017. In addition, we have a very diverse group of employees with very different backgrounds which is also amazing.

Cons

We have a guideline created for everything, and instructions created for everything and we have to follow them quite closely. I view it quite easy to move up and I make a good wage, although I haggled it.

Pros

Industry insight, learn to leverage a BA/BS within the world of health information management, flexible work schedule, strong male and female role models across the organization

Cons

Experience/knowledge is industry specific, HQ is in Austin, Texas, so quality of life is high but infrastructure is in need of a massive overhaul, medical device regulations change periodically
