There is never a shortage of work to be done. Between working with new clients and all of the projects for existing customers, idle hands are few and fleeting. Emergo works with an industry that is vital to major and emerging markets which provides you an opportunity to really make a difference. Emergo is global which is illustrated in the remarkable diversity of its workforce. the benefits are above par in comparison to similar job types, and the people are amazing.

Cons

Highly structured processes and procedures that seem unnecessary and slow down the actual 'work'.

Pros

Fantastic work environment, colleagues are energetic and enthusiastic. Culture is positive and generally fun! Work is intellectually fulfilling and Emergo permits employees to question processes and procedures and improve them. Emergo is also fair and recognizes good employees and promotes these individuals. Set work hours in the office can be selected based on preference. PTO is 23 days/year which not based on tenure at Emergo though time is accrued as worked. Healthcare, et al, there is a gym in the building.

Cons

Not necessarily a con though one needs to be smart and diligent. There is a lot of work.

Pros

If you have some smarts and are ambitious, this is a great place to start a career. Promotes from within. Lots of opportunity to showcase talent and lead impactful projects if you are willing to put in the work. Those who excel at their job can be promoted quickly. Fun atmosphere, team building activities/events, lots of really intelligent people from all over the world to learn from. If you are looking for an international environment, this is the place.

Cons

The work itself can be challenging. You are dealing with high level executives who have a lot riding on a successful outcome. The regulatory world is not easy to navigate which makes the learning curve a steep one. You have to be committed to your own success and take time to continually learn.
